Either is fine, really. I mean, obviously it’s a lot easier on us if you submit the research too (and you’ll see it on the blog a lot sooner if you do that), but we’re willing to do the research if you only submit the name. It’s nice if you at least tell us what they’re known for though (“inventor”, “activist”, whatever), in case there’s more than one person with that name. :)
Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival.
They have a “cis-ladies” only policy. Somehow Trans men also factor into that policy. It’s a whole tangled mess of Transmisogynic fun, and douchebaggery.

We sure have! She’s featured right here. We try to tag our posts with the name of the woman, so if you’re ever unsure if we’ve covered someone already, just put in “womenwhokickass.tumblr.com/tagged/firstname-lastname”. :)
Absolutely!
A major part of our blog are people who are no longer alive. As long as they’re a woman, send them in!

Thank you so much! Being inclusive is our highest priority, so we’re pleased that we’re getting something right.
We encourage our followers to let us know if they feel like we’re lacking in any kind of kick ass women and we’ll do our best to correct it.

Of course not! Erasing such a huge chunk of kickass women? Absolutely not.
While I could only bring you folks 120 posts throughout September, I have dozens of Trans Ladies still needing to be featured on this blog.
But if you ever feel like the content we’re posting is ignoring Trans women- send us an ask!

Could you send us a link of which image you’re referring to?

Thanks! I think it’s fantastic that our posts are becoming widely circulated- all these wonderful women definitely deserve to be well known, especially since the work they do is fantastic and kickass.
